Please describe your design decisions. What is common to all Innosilicon
HDMI bridges and what bits are specific to the Rockchip implementation.

So, you are exporting the low-level register accessory functions,
including the unprotected RMW function (which makes almost impossible to
track users if something goes wrong). May I ask, why?

I understand that you are mostly moving existing code around. I just
hope to see that this gets rewored in the next patches to use
drm_bridge_hpd_notify() instead.

No. You are not handling the case of flags == 0, so return -EINVAL if
there is no DRM_BRIDGE_ATTACH_NO_CONNECTOR flag and then
drm_bridge_attach the next bridge.

TMDS char rate validation should be handled in the generic code so that
I can replace it later on. Fix the driver first and then perform code
split.

Are these two ops really platform-specific?

Are these registers platform-specific too?

This is not your fault, but I don't see HDMI_COLORSPACE_YUV444 in
supported_formats being passed to drmm_connector_hdmi_init(). Probably
this needs to be fixed.

This code has a lot in common with your SF driver implementation. Please
